Ok I haven't posted in forever I am sooooo sorry. There are going to be truckloads of pictures comming and they will not be in any particular order time frame wise. Austin is crawling like a champ now eats mostly tablefoods (I know mom you told me to wait) He has 6 teeth and I think 2 more are trying to poke through. He loves to go outside and to the park he, like his mommy, hates to just stay home. He is pulling up on the furniture and cruising he has tried a couple of times, without success, to stand without holding on so I am just waiting for him to take that beautiful first step, I know it will be soon. I never knew I could love someone as much as I love him he is the light in my world, He knows exactly when I need cheering up and knows how to do it, He is amazing I couldn't of asked god for anything better then my baby boy.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile it has been a bit stressful around here. Austin is now crawling pulling up on anything he can he has 2 front bottom teeth and 1 side top tooth the other side top tooth and the 2 front top teeth are breaking in now. He is not liking all 3 coming in at the same time. well I am going to post some pics now.

So I went in to see the dr for a follow up on the blood work he took. And he said that everything looks great we talked for awhile and he diagnosed me with depresion(which I think I have know for awhile) I have been afraid to admit it. So I am taking my meds it has been about a week and I feel a whole lot better now hopefully it stays this way.

Fun Filled Day!!

Today mommy and daddy took me to Toys R US for the first time. I had a blast looking at all the toys. Mom tried to get me a plush Flower but daddy kept taking it away. I wasn't too worried about it anyways. Before going to Toys R Us Mommy and Me had our second exercise class it was a blast. I didn't want to exercise today though I just wanted to read my book and talk to all the people while mommy exercised (she said that was ok) then following Exercise class we went to the library to check out some new books. I really like it when mommy and daddy read books to me (I also like to read to myself) Then to Toys R Us, Mommy and daddy didn't buy me anything this time they said we can go back later and get me a new swim suit and maybe a toy. Then after Toys R Us daddy took us to the boring Bx doesn't he know we go there a million times a week, I wasn't too happy at the BX then we got to Go to BINGO I had a blast there mommy put my blanket down on the floor and I just rolled around and practices my Crawling, even though mommy thinks I am not going to crawl just get up and walk (mommy will post on this later) Then after Bingo we came home. I am going to sleep so good tonight after my busy day. Well time for bed Goodnight.

We have a tooth

Well this morning I decided (the crazy woman that I am) to stick my finger in Austins mouth, remember a couple days ago we saw white, and got bit. We have our first tooth it is on the bottom left side. He keeps sticking his fingers in his mouth and feeling it. I am so excited to finally have a tooth. I guess now it won't be long before little man is eating steak and Potatoes with Daddy.

Yesterday Austin refused to take a nap and just cried and fussed all day long thenLast night he was having a hard time falling asleep and when he did he kept whinning and wimpering in his bed so this morning I decided to check to see if he had a tooth and guess what I see the beginnings of a tooth so I guess last night it was breaking the skin. He had a much better day today. Yea for Austins first tooth.....he is ready for steak and potatoes now.

Well today Josh and I were sitting on the couch with Austin in between us austin started to lean forward so I grabed onto his arm he grabed Josh's shirt and pull himself up into a standing position. That was the one and only time he did that. He has decided when mommy puts him in a standing position leaning on his crib rails it is the coolest........my baby is growing soo fast. He still hasn't got the crawling down but he doesn't get on his hands and knees anymore just his hands and feet. Maybe he will walk before he crawls...OH NO.

Exercise Class

Well I kept meaning to post that I had signed up for an exercise class "mommy & Baby" . Well Friday was our first class and it was awesome. Austin was having a blast the whole time and mommy got a wonderful work out I am still self conscious about my body and my coordination with aerobic exercises isn't too good but I preservered and had a wonderful time. While we were doing push ups you are supposed to lie your baby on his/her blanket then do the push ups over them talking to them or kissing them while you did them well not my baby he wanted to get up next to me and it looked like he was trying to do the push-ups too. My abdominal work-out was sans baby too because it scared Austin being on my calves and on my thighs but still we had fun. I woke up yesterday and was in major pain do to the workout haven't worked out since before I got pregnant well besides walking but I put some muscles to work that haven't been used in over a year I think. I am grateful though and I think I will continue with this class as long as I can recommended age limit is 9 months which actually is when we move so all should be good. I am getting in shape need to work off these pregnancy inches/pounds I think now is the time to stop justifying with I just had a baby. LOL.

Mommy not feeling well.....

Lately I have been very fatigued along with many other things that have rose concern in my health care provider. I go in tomorrow for a full work up to check for multiple things. This all has brought many thoughts to my mind concerning if I weren't here to see my baby grow. I make sure I tell him every day many times a day how much I love him and how much he means to me but will this be enough if I was taken from the earth would He know how much I Love him and how much I wanted him in my life. My little guy is growing so fast and I just want him to stay a baby. I have been talking to Joshua lately about if I weren't here anymore what would happen. Would he make sure that Austin knew how much I loved him and how much I care about him. Of course he has said yes yes and yes. I don't know right now I am just writting to get things off my mind so this may not make any sense. I will post again soon telling what is going on with me hopefully nothing too big and something that can easily be taken care of. I love my baby and don't ever want to be without him or for him to be without me.

Family part 2

Ok I know there were many hurt feelings from my last family post. I am sorry to whomever I hurt I was hurting that day. Just as I have hurt many other times. I go through phases where I hurt and just have to get out what is on my mind. I have already talked to all whom were involved and have worked out (at least I think) that we will try and hopefully in time all wounds will heal and we can all be happy. Austin is a wonderful little boy and I would not want anyone to be left out of his life but I will also protect this little guy with my life and if I feel that he or any of my family is in danger I will get very defensive. I just wanted to publicly apologize for any hurt feelings and let everyone know that I think things will be ok in the end.

6 months today

My baby is 6 months old today oh my how time flies. It seems like only yesterday I was waddling around pregnant. He is growing so fast and trying to get in to everything. He still has not got the crawling down but he is working very hard. He like to try to grab for our food while we eat. I gave him some diced peaches yesterday and he loved them he likes being able to mash up the food with his gums. Well he had his check-up yesterday here are the stats:
Weight 18lb 11oz
Height 26 in
Dr said he was following the curve perfectly, and I was worried he was too big for his age. He got the ok to eat chunkier foods just no dairy products till 10 months and no eggs milk or honey till a year. He got his 4 month shots yesterday because we were behind a set, he goes back in for his 6 month shots in 2 months then no more shots till a year yippie. He has been a bit fussy due to his shots but still just and beautiful as ever.

Swimming

Austin went swimming for the first time today. He loved it in the baby pool he kept slpashing and laughing. We took him in the big pool and discovered that he is still too small for his floaty but daddy held on to him and was helping him float on his back, mommy couldn't hold him in the big pool because she is too short and can't touch the bottom. He enjoyed it but durring the winter months they only give 2hr passes so we didn't get to stay long with having to feed him so we will be going back soon. Took some pictures but have to wait to finish the roll and get it developed will post later.

WE'RE HOME!!!!!

We are finally home!!! The flight went pretty good Austin did wonderful. If my seats weren't in the back of the plane it would of been great. Austin slept most of the flight from DFW to Frankfurt and woke up right before landing which was 730 am SO we figured he would sleep all night well that didn't happen he woke up around 11pm and wanted to play. He played till around 1 am then went to sleep till around 8 am took a bottle then went back to sleep till 11. He took a nap around 1pm till 2pm and has been up ever since maybe we will have a simi good night. It is 8 PM now and he is getting fussy I better go feed him and see if he will go down for the night.

Flying

Shelled out the money

Well Tiffiny and Austin will not be flying back space A so we had to pay for the tickets back here to Germany. It has been nice to have my own time but since I haven't seen them in two months I am ready for them to be back home. I am counting down the days till they get here on Wendsday morning over here but tuesday night in the states. I think they missed all the cold weather we have had in the last few months. Now it is in the 50's and 60's. Anyhow I better clean up a bit.

Space A

Ok for those of you who do not know what Space A is, it is basically a military plane where if there is space Avaliable you can fly to different locations. This is how I flew over here and this is how I was planning to fly back, but from the looks of it it is not going so well. There have now been 4 different times in the past 2.5 weeks that I have gotten my hopes up that I was going home the first 3 times it was just get the stuff in the van then find out the flight were canceled, Last night we drove 2.5 hours to Charelston signed in so it was looking like we were going right before the final check in where they took our luggage they made an anouncement.........Due to Overloading the plane with Cargo there are no seat avaliable.......this is so frustrating it would be completly different if it were just me.....I can deal with lack of sleep or I could even go and stay in the airport till I got a flight but with a 5 month old it is completly different. He doesn't like getting woke up but he does wake up in a pretty good mood and staying in the airport with a 5 month old is out of the question. SO here we go waiting to get home. Austin has not seen Joshua in 2 months now I wonder if he even remembers him I am worried about this. Austin has changed so much in the last 2 months and it hurts Josh to hear about it. Well if we don't get a Space A flight by next weekend we are going to do what we have to to go commercial and pay the big bucks to get us home. I am not missing mine and Josh's wedding aniversary which is 2 weeks from tomorrow. Well Thanks for listening to me vent a bit. Hopefully I get to see my husband soon and Austin can be reunited with his daddy.

OK this is my first entry into the blog. Curently I am in Germany while my family is in the states visiting Tiffiny's family. She's been there for a while, it is hard on me personaly hearing about Austin's things he does. Before they went to the states my wife was doing a majority of the raising. I would say about 10-90 split on me and wife. The first week they were gone was the longest week I have known, after that it was a little easier but it still was hurting me inside because he was doing things I wanted to be there for. Now that they are trying to get back over here every day drags on. All the pics on this blog I have seen and a few others, now Tiffiny know how I get when i see these pic. It chokes me up. Now with us getting ready to go back to the states this summer to go to a Combat Comm in Tinker OK is going to add a strian for me because if we have more I will miss stuff and I don't want to miss anything now. Any how it is getting late here so I better call Tiffiny then bed because I have to go to the gym in the morning.

Food Food Food!

So I am a bit late posting about this but Austin started solids on his 4 month birthday. He was so excited to be getting solids he dived for the spoon like he knew exactly what he was doing and that was just rice cereal. Next he had Sweet Potatoes he loved them he still does one of his faves. Then was Bananas these were not the best but he still liked them pretty well he eats them pretty good not but he does not like fresh bananas only from the jar gotta work on that. Then was carrots he seemed to like these pretty well never had a problem. Then was applesauce He loved it still to this day I would have to say Apples is his all time favorite. Next was peaches he really didn't care much for these I think they were too tart if I mix them with a whole lot of rice cereal he loves them. Next was green beans this would have to be one of his favorite veggies. Peas are another story I can't stand the smell and he didn't seem to like them so he only gets them once in a blue moon. He loves baked potatoe mashed up and also baked sweet potatoe mashed up. He gave me a "are you trying to posion me" look when I tried to give him Avacado. He is now eating a jar of fruit mixed with cereal in the morning and a jar of veggies in the evening sometimes he will even get 1/2 a jar or a jar of fruit in the evenings with his veggies so yes he is a piggy boy but I don't care it is all healthy and he is healthy and he will tell me if he is eating too much. SO this is an up to date update on Austins venturs with solids. Hopefully I will keep updating this ass we try new things.

Ok this is not exactly about Austin just some random thoughts that have been floating in my head for quite some time now. What is Family? Just because someone is related to you in blood does that make them family? This has stemed from some issues I have had with particular people. People who want to be there for you only when it is convenient for them or when it will make them look good to be related to you. I guess in a way this does have something to do with Austin. So anyways these people are now all of the sudden wanting to be part of my life now that my little man has arrived but wait only when it doesn't interfear with something going on in their life. Hey lets avoid Tiffiny for year and years then all of the sudden she does something spectaular (graduates, get married, has a baby) and then we will try to be part of her life. So what I am getting at do I allow these people to be part of the life of me and my family? Are they family? Do I even give them the chance to be part of Austin's life then hope they don't do the same to him as they have done to me? Deep down I want to tell them to go *&*^*& themselves. But then again I am a very nice person and wouldn't want to hurt anyone by excluding them from my life. So still I have the question what is family? Does being related by blood make you family?

I have avoided using names in this blog to protect said people but if you know who you are then you can see how I feel.

I have longed to have a baby since long before I was actually ready. I was one of those girls who babysat for every family on the block and told myself oh I will have no problem raising a baby, they are so sweet and cuddly, Heck I even did the baby task 2 times in school just for the fun of it. Well let me tell you something. It is not easy. Austin is my pride and joy do not get me wrong but you are the one who has to change every diaper get up 50 gazillion times at night, heck just never sleep. I hear all these teen girls saying ohh I want a baby it will be fun. Well guess what it is not always fun...Yes a majority of the time can be fun but there are also many times when you think to yourself can I just put him back.
A teenage girl was bagging our groceries once when Austin was about 2 months old and she was doing the normal oh he is so cute he is so precious how old is he...blah blah blah routine. Well then as she was taking our groceries to the car she asked is it easy to have a baby. I just looked at her.....WHAT PART the Labor...no never the long sleepless night....Never The worrying all night because he has an unexplained fever that landed him in the hospital and turned out to just be a case of hand foot and mouth that is just something that goes away on it own....umm Never. Caring for a child 24/7 is not ever easy. Yes when Austin looks up at me with his big brown eyes and smiles It make my heart melt and I am so happy to have him in my life. Or when I am having the worst day of my life and he looks at me and giggles and make all my troubles go away. Or when I am on the verge of doing some harm to my husband if he doesn't grow up and he looks up and me and I know why I married the man I did and forgive him for everything just because he gave me this precious joy.
The purpose of this blog is to let everyone know that even though I would not trade my little guy for anything in this world being his mommy is not easy. Everyday with your baby is a joy but please do not try to become a parent before you are ready.

Rolie Polie Olie

Well my little man has mastered the art of rolling. He now can get where he wants or to want he wants all by the art of rolling. He like to get under my mom coffee table and just chill. He gets mad when he rolls into something that stops him such as the couch or he favorite the wall. We caught him the other day pulling up on his bouncy seat which he had rolled to.

Wiggle Worm

Austin is no longer wanting to just sit still he always has to be moving unless he is asleep. This is good except that he no longer likes to be in the car for long periods of time becuase why?....The carseat Duh he can't move too much while he is in the carseat and ends up getting very upset. This is all fine and dandy though I am proud to see him growing up. He Also just learned to roll over so my little wiggle worm is also a little Rollie Pollie. He rolled from his back to his stomach three times in a row last night and I could not believe my eyes. He is not going to be a baby much longer and it saddens me to think of this. well the little guy is requireing attention now I better go.

Hello I am starting this blog because a few of the girls in my pregnancy web group were doing them and it seemed like an interesting way to keep up on the life and happenings of my son Austin. He is now 4 months old and my husband is in the Air Force so our families do not get the chance to see Austin very often and we needed a way to share what is going on in his life with them. So thanks for embarking on our Journey through parenthood with us and I hope you enjoy the life of our little boy.
